03 X CONCEPT ARCHITECTURE

EXIT001 – Green suede walls for the basketball court “A typical setting for a basketball court with green suede balls. A still ball sits in the middle of the court as a reminiscent of a solo game. The court has its own rules. (Archdaily Jury Award – 2022)”

EXIT026 – Red velvet stair brulee “A set of twisting stairs embedded in a red brutalist structure lands on an even redder surface. A vertical maze almost, the architecture calls for a multi-level journee.”

EXIT050 – Spiral stroll “A monochromatic tone on tone beige environment with a spiral monumentalism. In this concept architecture, the center piece sits in the scene as if it was carved out of a plaster mass. Subtle touches of the fluting brings an intimate scale of familiarity. Maybe a showroom or a private collection, the scene calls for a spiral stroll.”

EXIT 032 – Where is Waldo? “Inspired by the original children’s puzzle, the viewers are challenged to find the Waldo chair designed by Pietro Franceschini. A singular color of rust over a cityscape with brief eye breaker patterns, the scene hides the puffy Waldo chair just like the witty original of itself. (Collaboration With: Pietro Franceschini)”

EXIT 048 – Ping Pong “A concept architecture with a monochromatic purple room with a red waffle ceiling light-well above a ping-pong table. Play is a form of constructive escapism, ping-pong as a recreational exit. Introducing Philippe table as an ode to my first mentor Philippe Baumann who took me into his studio when I was 20 and thought me that architecture comes with an edge. He loves ping pong, so does his son Oskar.
Ps. The longest ping pong rally lasted 11 hours 50 minutes in 2020. Jfc”

EXIT 022 – A very brutal landscape “Lies under a striped carpet, a very brutal landscape rises to the gray sky. Post-chaos as silent as it can be. Captures one nook of an endless field of black stones, the image features a black bench for a break. Subtle touches of patterns and graphics, I’ve been exploring a language for the design series. Big fan of checkerboards and stripes so far.”
