WHAT IS A PRE-ORDER

Pre-order is a fully-fledged mode of purchase, allowing you to purchase products in advance that will only be available later.

This allows you to ensure the desired product, which is only available in limited pieces, without risking that it will run out once made available for sale. The start date is indicated on the product page.

 

WHY ARE PRODUCTS AVAIABLE IN PRE-ORDER?

Our products are in pre-order for a precise choice, linked to sustainability and respect for the environment during all stages of production.

Immediate online sales, simultaneously with the launch of the collection, require the production of a large number of warehouse stocks, which often remain unsold as a certain product may be more in demand than others. With a short period of initial pre-order we have the possibility to make each product in quantities and types suitable for the customer’s request.

 

CAN I COMBINE THE PRE-ORDERED PURCHASE WITH THE PURCHASE OF OTHER ITEMS ALREADY AVAILABLE?

Yes, you can combine the purchase of a product already available in our shop with a product available in pre-order. However, remember that if you want to receive products already available in the shop as soon as possible, we recommend that you carry out two separate orders.

 

CAN I CANCEL A PRE-ORDER OR CHANGE MY PRODUCT DETAILS IN PRE-ORDER?

No, it is not possible to change the pre-ordered product’s details as the pre-order is considered in effect a purchase. Once the pre-order is finalized, your size and customization preferences are registered and the garment is sent to production.

WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED FOR MY ORDER?

The payment of your order, including shipping costs, takes place when you complete the pre-order. At the time of shipping your order, no additional fee will be charged.

 

HOW CAN I BE SURE THAT MY PRE-ORDER HAS BEEN RECEIVED?

Once you have paid for the products in pre-order, we will send you a confirmation of receipt of the order with the specifications specified by you for the products.

When the products are ready, we will take care of the shipment without charging any additional cost and we will send you a notification email with the tracking code of your package.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE MY ORDER IS SHIPPED?

Your orders are processed and shipped in no less than 10 working days.

Why so much time?!

We have made a precise choice regarding the sustainability of our collection at every stage, including that of shipments. Instead of sending from time to time the various orders received on our shop, we preferred to schedule weekly shipments. This allows us to deliver as many orders as possible at the same time, ensuring that courier trucks travel fully loaded.

This small care allows, with a few more days of waiting, to reduce CO2 emissions related to the transport of your order.

In addition, each item purchased is customized according to your requests, with processing and printing handmade in Italy. Considering the time required for such processing, shipping your order requires no less than 10 working days to be carried out.

 

HOW LONG BEFORE MY ORDER GETS HERE?

Once the shipment is made, the delivery is guaranteed in Italy from 3 to 5 working days, abroad from 10 to 15 working days. However, sometimes this process can take up to 7 working days in Italy and 20 working days in other countries of the world, depending on the volume of orders at that time.

The company that deals with the shipment of products is based in Italy, so the delivery times for orders in Italy are shorter than in other countries of the world.

 

HOW CAN I PAY ON THIS SHOP?

The payment methods available on the shop are as follows:

Shipping costs vary depending on the country in which the order will be shipped. Charges are calculated before proceeding with the purchase. The shipping costs according to the countries are as follows.

No additional shipping costs for orders of multiple products.

 

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE A PRODUCT?

No. Each product is customized by printing the label according to your design and color specifications, choosing the product of your selected size. We have no stock, this means that your items are only produced after you place your order. For this reason it is not possible to make changes.

For this reason, before making a purchase we always recommend you to consult our size guide that you find in the individual product pages.

03 X ALL ABOUT THE PRODUCTS

WHAT DOES THE PRICE OF UNBUILT PROJECT PRODUCTS DEPEND ON?

The Unbuilt Project collection was created with the aim of countering Fast Fashion, which is seriously damaging our planet. 

The materials and workmanship chosen for our products have different costs compared to those of other brands. We have made sure to reduce the final cost to the maximum possible, without sacrificing the quality offered and ensuring the protection of the workers who have created the collection.

The change in the world of design and fashion in particular, also starts from us consumers. It is no longer sustainable to buy so many products at reduced prices, which will then be thrown away because they can no longer be used. The central idea is to buy more consciously and less, choosing products that last over time and that, once worn, can be recycled and reborn in other forms.

We chose to give priority to quality, starting from the material used to make the garments. All our products are made from ECONYL® regenerated nylon, a fabric with high performance, which ensures a long life of the product. Discover more about ECONYL® regenerated nylon here.

These products are personalized by hand and the entire production process is carried out in factories in southern Italy, historically specialized in the textile sector. The work is carried out by skilled workers, in full respect of the rights of the workers, their protection and safety. For this reason, production costs are not comparable to those of other brands that choose to move production to developing countries or where labour costs are much lower.

So let’s buy less, better and consciously!

 

HOW CAN I TAKE CARE OF MY PRODUCTS TO LAST AS LONG AS POSSIBLE?

The products of the Unbuilt Project collection were born to last. The maintenance label sewn onto each product contains all the information you need to take care of your products. Read the label carefully and don’t cut it off: we thought of it as an iconic detail of our garments, as well as very useful for you!

The fabric made of ECONYL® yarn can be machine washed according to the instructions on the maintenance label. The PC case and the bag are lined inside and have buttons, so we do not recommend washing in the washing machine; it is preferable to wash by hand.

For the first wash, we advise you to wash the products separately because the patch may slightly lose color. After the first wash, wash your products comfortably together with your other clothes.

Our t-shirt doesn’t need to be ironed! Wear it, pull it, crumple it: once relaxed, it will regain its original shape in a short time. This allows the t-shirt to be worn in any circumstance and to minimize the necessary maintenance. The fabric is also breathable and does not retain odors. The same fabric is used for the outer lining of the PC case and the bag.

Remember that every washing and ironing risks consuming the garment. In addition, washing and ironing require the consumption of water, energy and often harmful products. Wash the product only when necessary!

 

I ACCIDENTALLY DAMAGED ONE OF MY PRODUCTS, WHAT CAN I DO?

The products of our collection are directed by creative minds to creative minds!

Too often we throw away our clothes and products to buy new ones, without thinking that, with a little creativity and inventiveness, a defect can turn into iconic detail. With a needle and thread, alone or with the help of a tailor, think about how to repair the small damage.

Sew custom buttons, add more patches, repair the damage with contrasting color stitching. The options are endless and before you get rid of the products, you just have to try to repair them.

 

MY PRODUCT IS IRREPARABLY DAMAGED, WHAT CAN I DO?

We consider one of our products “irreparably damaged” only when you are certain that your product can no longer be repaired in any way. The yarn ECONYL® is not recyclable with plastic! Nylon is a material that requires a different treatment, so it’s important that you don’t recycle it with other household plastic waste.

The disposal of garments therefore cannot be carried out independently by you users and requires cooperation between you and us. If you want to get rid of your product, send us an email to customer service info@archicage.com with the subject “Disposal products CAGE X NSS”. We will answer you with more information.
